Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has ordered the immediate suspension of the Chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC), Segun Oladitan. Naija News reports that the governor made this known in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tesleem Igbalaye, on Monday. The statement added that the governor also ordered the suspension of six members of the Commission with immediate effect. It said the chairman and the members were suspended based on several petitions bordering on financial impropriety, dereliction of duty, absenteeism, and abuse of office.
