With the incessant attacks in Nigeria by Boko Haram insurgents, the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has called on the dreaded sect to sheath its sword and embrace peace.
The apex Islamic body in the north made the call on Wednesday, July 16, in a statement issued by its Secretary-General, Khalid Abubakar Aliyu in Kaduna.
The Islamic group also called on Muslim Hummah to embark on Al-Qunut special prayer for the people of Borno State, the entire North East and Nigeria at large, where insurgency has been the order of the day.
