Buhari Govt To File Fresh Charges Against Sunday Igboho

The Muhammadu Buhari-led government is considering filing a fresh action against Yoruba secessionist agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho. The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, made this known on Thursday in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Reacting to the judgment of Oyo State High Court which awarded N20 billion in damages in Sunday Igboho’s favour, Malami said the federal government had the right to appeal the judgement or file a fresh charge.
