America’s Got Talent is officially back! Now that AGT is back for its 19th season on NBC, there’s been a huge twist to the show itself. Instead of 4 or 5 Golden Buzzers, this season will feature 9. 9 year old singer Pranysqa Mishra is among the recipients of the season.
Who is Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer Pranysqa Mishra?
Pranysqa Mishra is a 9 year old singer that was born in Canada, but moved to America at a young age to pursue music. Since moving to the United States, she has been performing professionally since 2021. According to her website, her career is music is marked by singing the National Anthem for major sporting teams. These teams include those in the NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, USL, NCAA, and CFL. Her website lists specific teams as the LA Lakers, Florida Panthers, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, Inter Miami CF, Washington Wizards, Ticats, and more.
“When you have a kid, they have a flair for music which is very common… so we saw that as a normal thing,” Pranysqa’s mother, Priya Mishra told ABC’s WFTS Tampa Bay in 2022.
At only 5 years old, Pranysqa took on an Idina Menzel song in front of an audience of “a few hundred people.” During this performance, Pranysqa’s mother and father realized she truly had a gift. Since then, music has been Pranysqa’s full time passion.
Aside from Pranysqa’s role as a National Anthem singer, she has also gone viral on social media and appeared on both American TV and Canadian TV. Pranysqa has also performed in several Broadway musicals and even graced the World Stage of Apollo Theatre in New York as a child star.
