President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow, Thursday, depart Abuja to Zamfara State.
Naija News reports that this was made known by Governor Bello Matawalle during an emergency meeting with political appointees on Tuesday.
According to Matawalle, Buhari will be visiting the state to condole and commiserate with his administration of over the recent bandit terrorists attack.
Recall that terrorists had recently attacked Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas in Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria, where many people were killed.
Speaking at the meeting, Matawalle said, “All is set to ensure the president is received successfully.
“I want to inform all the good people of Zamfara State that the Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will come to Zamfara on Thursday specifically for a condolence visit over the recent bandits’ attacks in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas of the state.”
While urging residents to welcome Buhari, Matawalle charged them to remain law-abiding during the President’s visit.
