Kenyans have offered mixed reactions regarding the recent step by Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) boss Ezekiel Mutua to cancel his support for singer Bahati.

The moral police had promised to support Bahati by rewarding him KSh 200k towards the release of his new album, but now the deal is off.

According to Mutua and his team, Bahati's new music video did not follow their clean content policy, hence deciding to abandon the deal and stop working with the singer.

The views of many Kenyans who reacted to the story have shown a huge division in regards to those that share Mutua's views and those that believe Bahati did nothing wrong.

Mutua's decision came days after Bahati released a music video in which he was recorded smoking a huge cigar, which made many question his Christian beliefs.

In the caption, Bahati revealed that the video was from an upcoming project set to drop on June 8.

Given that he is still perceived as a gospel musician, the smoking video swiftly attracted backlash online.

Kligraph Jones responds to diss track

In the said track, Bahati went at all the top artistes in the game, from Sauti Sol to Ringtone, Octopizzo, Daddy Owen, and others.

He also chose to bash the OG, Khaligraph, claiming that the rapper uses performance-enhancing drugs for better results in the gym.

After learning about the dig, Khaligraph shared a photo of him flexible his muscles with a friend in the US, where he's been performing for the past few days while hilariously hitting back at Bahati.
