It is one thing to have a family member battling a terminal disease but a whole world of pain when two of your most cherished people are battling life threatening conditions.
Tahidi High actor George Mulei, popular know as Ian in the drama series, is going through that phase in life as both of his parents are ailing and in need of urgent treatment.

In a short clip shared on his Facebook page, Mulei revealed his father, Jimmy Mulei, was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and what followed has been a series of misfortunes.
After his dad was diagnosed with cancer, the family was able to raise some funds for his treatment in India but unfortunately, on his way back home, his dad lost his father and mother-in-law.
"Early 2018, dad got diagnosed with cancer and it was quite a journey. We manged to raise some funds to send him to India, unfortunately on his way back he lost his father and mother-in-law in the same week," said Mulei.READ ALSO: Senator Linturi refuses to adjourn divorce case with Kitany following his father's death
The passing on of the two took an emotional toll on both Mulei's father and his mother who also fell ill following the death.
"So it took a toll on him emotionally and my mom too. It has bee quite a journey, my mom also feel ill due to the stresses of losing her mom and father-in-law," he added.Mulei's mom developed chest problems which doctors later concluded her blood vessels were blocked and needed urgent surgery.

Through friends, family and well wishers, they have been able to raise funds enough to take back his father to India and his mother for treatment but their pockets are now running dry.
The talented actor is now appealing to more well wishers to help the family raise more funds so his mom can have the much needed surgery and his father can continue with his chemotherapy.

"The challenge we are having right now is raising funds to take care of both of them because my dad needs consistent chemotherapy and treatment and my mom needs her surgery and their upkeep while in India," he said.To help Mulei raise the funds, you can send your contributions to:
