Neymar was outraged after Barcelona were handed a penalty in their Champions League round of 16 first leg clash where PSG dominated the encounter to win 4-1 away from home.
The Brazilian superstar who is injured watched the game from home and was upset with the referee’s decision to hand the Catalan giants a spot-kick after Frenkie de Jong had his legs clipped by Layvin Kurzawa.
But he quickly deleted the tweet as Lionel Messi converted the penalty to hand the hosts an early lead in the encounter.
Big blow for PSG as Neymar set to miss Champions League clash against Barcelona
The incident left Neymar baffled at how the decision could be given, which saw him take to Twitter to give his followers his reaction.
Neymar tweeted with a load of laughing emojis: 'Joke that penalty,' before he swiftly deleted the post.
However, PSG had other plans as Kylian Mbappe netted a hat-trick as well as a Moise Kean goal for PSG to hand the French champions a giant lead as they go into the second leg.
Gerard Pique and Antoine Griezmann also had a heated argument on the night as they blamed each other over keeping ball possession.
An on-field incident occurred when it was 1-1 as former Manchester United defender Pique was visibly upset with the team.
It happened at a time Barcelona were defending a corner as the full heated-argument was caught by pitch-side microphones.
Meanwhile, in the other game of the night, Liverpool bounced back from a Premier League defeat to Leicester City following a comfortable 2-0 win over RB Leipzig in the first-leg round of 16 Champions League game.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored a goal apiece to help the Reds take a 2-0 lead back to Anfield in a fortnight.
The English side dominated the entire first half and should have been 3-0 up as chances came begging.
However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Adnan Januzaj has slammed former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal ahead of his return to Old Trafford on February 25 for their Europa League second-leg clash.
The 26-year-old was promoted to the Red Devils senior team in 2013 and made his competitive debut for them in the Community Shield clash.
He wasn't given enough time to develop as the Dutch manager initially sent him on loan to Borrusia Dortmund in 2015 and Sunderland in 2016 before eventually selling him off in 2017.
