The state of Georgia in the United States of America is set to conduct a full by-hand recount of presidential ballots, its secretary of state has announced.
Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, said the margin in the tight presidential race between incumbent Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden who is leading was too close to call and as such a recount will determine the real winner.

The Georgia secretary of state's announcement came amid alleged vote stealing claims from Trump and his allies who have declared the 45th US president "won" the election.
Biden leads Trump by about 14,000 votes in Georgia but the incumbent is unrelenting claiming there was rigging.

Poll observers blocked
On Thursday, November 12, he claimed his poll watchers were "blocked" from observing the election in Pennsylvania and Michigan meaning he "won" in the two crucial states.
